Skyhook is one of the few helicopter companies in the UK with the right equipment and expertise to carry out tower construction. Sections can be lowered from the air directly onto the tower base bolts and on upwards with no need for access tracks or heavy cranes and excavators on site. Skyhook can also provide fully trained and qualified riggers to climb the tower as it is erected and guide the pilots ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, accuracy and safety throughout the build.
This solution leaves minimum impact on the ground access routes meaning minimum impact for site providers and less chance of incurring reinstatement costs after the completion of works
